Canyoning in the Albola torrent

Jacuzzi canyon tour at Lake Garda with a Mountain Guide

This is the only canyon near Riva del Garda, it is called Jacuzzi canyon and it goes along the Albola torrent. You will experience a few jumps and wonderful abseils in a deep gorge where fresh and abundant water flows.

This canyon is suitable for you if you have already tried canyoning before and you want to learn how to progress on rope independently. The start and finish point are the same and to get to the torrent we will walk on a steep path for about half an hour. The gorge is a natural wonder which alternates between beautiful pools, narrow passages and abseils beneath waterfalls in a severe but astonishing environment.

Diving is not compulsory and in every canyon tour you can easily avoid jumps and slides by abseiling with the help of your guide. We will have fun and you will learn rope progression in a wonderfully wild and hidden environment.

What you have to bring:

A pair of shoes to wear in the canyon (preferably sneakers)
A swimming costume
Another pair of shoes for the return walk (the pair you use in the canyon will be completely wet)
Bags for the wet shoes and clothing
A towel
A synthetic or cotton T-shirt to be worn under the wetsuit (a synthetic thermal T-shirt would be the best choice)
