Basic information about the activity
The Palvico canyon is located near Storo, in the Ledro valley, not far from Lake Garda. This route has everything that canyoning can offer you: dive, slide and descend into the crystal clear water of its deep gorge. Also called Integral, it is suitable for you if you are a sporty person with some previous experience.
The beginning of this canyon is quiet with some small dips and fun passages between large stones and gorges. We will tackle passages and slides between smooth rocks, narrow passages and caves. Successively we will arrive to a challenging slide which characterises this part of the canyon: at this point you will have to trust your guide who will explain you carefully how to face this toboggan. A couple of seconds of pure adrenaline and a 7-metres jump will take us in the middle of our canyon tour. Some abseils, short slides, jumps and small pools will follow and after that we will arrive in a nice pool, so small it almost looks like a bathtub, at a height of 50 metres over the rocks. Towards the end of this magical tour you will have to trust your guides and their mountaineering skills one more time when they will help you abseil down a waterfall into a quiet lake.
As in all the canyoning routes you will do with us, jumps and slides can be avoided by lowering yourself with a rope. Canyoning is pure fun, but first and foremost it is an opportunity to discover unspoiled nature that would otherwise be inaccessible. We are waiting for you!
