Canyoning Family Experience Rio nero

Then canyoning for families is the right activity for you! This trail, which is a smaller section of the Rio Nero, is perfect for children aged between 8 and 12 and will be a lot of fun for the whole family! Your Mountain Guide will take maximum care of the young adventurers to ensure they get the most out of this experience. This adventure is especially planned for them to enjoy playing and discovering nature from Rio Nero’s clear water. Sliding onto smooth rocks, abseiling near magical waterfalls, ziplines and some smaller diving won’t be missing, so what are you waiting for? Join us!

We’ve been offering this kind of family-friendly activities for many years now because we strongly believe that, by making these adventurous sports accessible for children, we enable families to live an unforgettable experience!

Technical information:

meeting point is at Passo d’Ampola in Ledro valley (see below the meeting point on the map), 15 minutes before starting time. The Guide will be waiting for you there
the activity consists of a loop trail
we will put on and take off the wetsuit in the nature, with a towel, as you would do on the beach
please wear your swimwear under your clothes before the activity
a UIAGM certified Mountain Guide will accompany you throughout this experience

Advice from your Mountain Guide:

at the meeting point, your guide will carefully explain the whole family-friendly activity to the group. He will tell you what you can or cannot do along the whole ring trail, giving you advice on how to responsibly behave during the activity, in order to limit the possible risks along the canyoning outdoor trail.

Technical equipment provided:

neoprene socks
5,5-mm-thick neoprene wetsuit
helmet
harness with climbing ropes and carabiners
life vest, only upon request to the guide during the general explanation at the meeting point
all the equipment is duly washed and disinfected after every use

What you need to take with you:

Comfortable shoes (sneakers, running or hiking shoes)
Swimwear
Towel
Advisable: synthetic T-shirt to wear under the wetsuit
Set of dry clothes INCLUDING SHOES, for the walk back to the starting point.
