Impressive itinerary, taking the trekker into the historic sites where dreadful battles were fought during the First World War.

The first day, we climb up approx. 1400 m of vertical height gain which separate the Caduti dell’Adamello hut from the Bèdole hut. The ascent to the Caduti dell’Adamello hut is along the Matterot ferrata. With the easy traverse of the small Lobbia glacier, you reach the foot of the Cavento pass very early next day. After a short climb on easy rock, on reaching the pass, you let yourself down on to the small Lares glacier. From here it is possible to reach the summit. After overcoming some difficult sections of glacier, we shall follow the whole length of the splendid and wild Lares Valley, which will give us fabulous glimpses of forgotten places.
