Basic information about the activity
In these mountains, a journey through time is hidden, where the traveler who will be lucky enough to walk on its paths, must be ready to listen to the stories of a little-known population, who calmly awaits the passing of the days, in a natural context on a human scale.
Every day will be a surprise. During the first part of the trek, we will walk alongside the very high cliffs of the highlands, until we reach the summit of Ras Dashan, which with its 4545 meters, is the highest peak in Ethiopia. In the second part of the trek, we will live in close contact with the populations of the lower part of the Simien plateau, where we can appreciate their surprising ability to survive in a harsh and difficult nature.
It will not only be the path of the body to surprise us, but also the path of discovery; we will in fact dive into the cradle of the world, where Lucy was found, a hominid old 3 million years.
We will then have the opportunity to find the space to visit the beauties of Lake Tana, the castle of Gondar, the rock churches of Lalibella, the museums of Addis Ababa and many other wonders of this handkerchief of Africa. Certainly a fascinating and authentic journey, suitable for true travelers, a combination of nature, culture and emotions.

What to expect from Trekking in the Simien Mountains in Ethiopia
